Qualifications

• HS plus 10 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years in a lead role or equivalent.
• Knowledge of equipment, sampling, shipping, labeling, Hazardous Waste Manifest and Transportation Requirements.
• Basic 40 Hour Training; Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified.
• Site Health and Safety Coordinator Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities in the field with autonomy and judgement.
• Provide training to new staff.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks on a project.
• Maintain knowledge of Hazardous Waste Manifest, Transportation requirements, and equipment.
• Stay within project scope and ensure quality execution.
• Perform senior level construction work; assignment level determined by supervisor.
• If Superintendent is unavailable, may fulfill the role.

The Foreman coordinate activities of construction staff delegating daily work assignments. This position is reserved for those work assignments requiring a significant level of autonomy and judgement making.

Expected Outcomes

• Act as lead individual in a portion of a large function out in the field.
• Provide training to new staff.
• Responsible for timely completion of tasks on a project.
• Maintain knowledge of Hazardous Waste Manifest, Transportation requirements, and knowledge of equipment.
• Responsibility includes staying within the scope of the project and maintaining a quality execution of project.
• Perform senior level construction work. Assignment of the job is related to the responsibility level of incumbent, to be left up to supervisor.
• In the absence of the Superintendent may fulfill the role.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
