Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead mechanical crews in the safe and efficient execution of construction, maintenance, and industrial projects. The Mechanical Foreman is responsible for supervising daily field activities, coordinating manpower and materials, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with all safety requirements.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities



  • Supervise and direct mechanical crews on assigned projects.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work activities to ensure schedules and production goals are met.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.

  • Ensure installation, maintenance, and repair work is performed according to company standards and project requirements.

  • Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce all site safety policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate workforce needs, equipment, tools, and materials.

  • Monitor work quality and productivity while identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Train and mentor employees to develop skills and maintain high-performance standards.

  • Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and subcontractors.

  • Complete required reports, timekeeping records, and documentation accurately and timely.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.


Qualifications



  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and installation practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in safety regulations and industry best practices.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdown/turnaround schedules as needed.

  • Must possess a valid TWIC Card.

  • NCCER Preferred

  • Must be able to pass a Drug Screen


Preferred Qualifications



  • experience in industrial Facilities

  • Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors.

  • Preferred NCCER or related mechanical certifications.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Must be able to wear required PPE and work in industrial settings.
