Job summary

The Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking a Foreman to lead utility line clearance crews in Gulfport, MS. You will supervise line clearing, tree trimming, and supervise Groundmen and Climber teams.

Responsibilities include planning work, equipment management, and ensuring safety and quality on projects for major electric utilities. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for advancement in an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license required; CDL-A preferred but not required.
• Certificates and Licenses if necessary.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification if working near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
• Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred.
