Job summary

Florida Silt Fencing is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead erosion control crews on outdoor construction sites. You will supervise a 3–4 person team, ensure proper installation of silt fences and related measures, and maintain professional relationships with customers.

The role requires driving capability with a clean MVR, ability to travel, and strong safety awareness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reliability in reporting and inspections are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in leadership roles.
• 2–4 years in construction or erosion control.
• Experience with safety practices and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage a 3–4 person crew on construction sites

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR; Class A CDL preferred
• Pass a drug screen and comply with workplace safety policies
• Experience: 1–3 years in leadership, 2–4 years in construction or erosion control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to operate equipment (trenchers, trucks, side‑by‑sides)
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working outdoors in various conditions
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills to manage crews and job sites
• Effective communication in English; Spanish is a plus
• Excellent supervisory and problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to travel with some overnight stays possible
