Job summary

Muller,-Inc. is seeking a construction/landscaping laborer to lead a small crew and perform hands-on site work in Manassas, VA. The role includes operating Bobcats or mini excavators, installing silt fences, hydroseeding, and managing daily paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and reliable transportation to job sites. This is an on-site, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience driving a truck with a trailer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 3 years of construction or landscaping experience.
• Experience with Bobcats or mini excavators.
• Silt fence or under drain experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of 2-3 laborers daily.
• Complete tasks such as silt fence installation, hydroseeding, underdrain installation, and asphalt patching.
• Operate mini-excavators and skid steers to perform daily job functions.
• Fill out daily paperwork including job tickets and time sheets.
• Trench and excavate as needed.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Communicate with Client Representatives, Superintendents, and Project Managers.
• Experience with silt fence, seeding, punch work, or under drain preferred.

Job description

• Manage a crew of 2-3 laborers on a daily basis
• Manage and complete work such as silt fence installation, hydroseeding, underdrain installation, manhole punch work, bond release items, asphalt patching and crack sealing
• Operate mini-excavators and skid steers to perform daily job functions
• Complete daily paperwork including but not limited to daily job tickets, time sheets
• Trench/Excavate
• Load and unload construction materials
• Respectfully Communicate directly with Client Representatives, Superintendents, and Project Managers
• Super Silt Fence, Silt fence, seeding, punch work, or under drain experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Employee must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).

Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.

Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
