The Davey Tree Surgery Company is seeking a Foreman for utility line clearance. You will supervise crews, coordinate line trimming, and ensure safe, efficient execution of large-scale pruning and removal tasks for major electric utilities.

You will direct equipment and personnel, maintain tools and safety gear, and work on-site with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber team members. CDL preferred but not required; regulatory licenses may be needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Driver’s license is required; CDL preferred but not required.
• Pesticide license, if required by state law.
• Herbicide license a plus.
• Line clearance certification for work near utility transmission lines.
• ISA Certified Tree Worker certification or willingness to obtain.
• Electric utility tree trimming/climbing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers.
• Directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned work and tasks.
• Responsible for supervision and assistance in maintenance, preparation and operation of tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Operates as part of a crew with Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber.
• Ensures safety protocols and efficiency in on-site operations.
• Performs all above mentioned functions as required.

Position Overview

The Davey Tree Surgery Company, is pleased to offer a key opportunity in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a Foreman | Foreperson.

Job Duties

• Provides crew supervision and line clearing and tree trimming services for major electric utility providers
• Services provided include pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal as well as removing broken limbs from wires, roofs, and other objects
• Directs crew members and equipment as well as planning and executing the assigned work and tasks
• Responsible to supervise and assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Groundmen and Trimmer/Climber
• Ability to perform all above mentioned functions

Qualifications

• Certificates and Licenses if necessary
• Pesticide license, if required by state law
