Job summary

PowerGrid Services, LLC is seeking a Lead Lineman Supervisor to lead and supervise assigned crew on utility job sites in Texas. You will plan daily work, assign tasks, and conduct briefings while ensuring OSHA and DOT/FMCSA compliance.

The role requires Journeyman Lineman experience, proven leadership, CDL Class A, and strong knowledge of line construction and safety standards. You will coordinate materials, equipment, and personnel to meet deadlines and serve as the primary field contact for

• Journeyman Lineman with supervisory experience required.
• Proven leadership and crew supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, OSHA, and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Experience with line construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and supervise assigned crew members on job sites.
• Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and conduct briefings.

• Operate and oversee energized and de-energized work as needed.
• Complete documentation such as JSAs, inspections, logs, and timesheets.

• Ensure DOT compliance for vehicles and equipment.

• Serve as the primary field contact for supervisors, clients, and inspectors
• Ensure vehicles and equipment meet DOT compliance requirements

Requirements

• Journeyman Lineman experience required
• Proven leadership and crew supervision experience
• CDL Class A required
• Strong knowledge of line construction, safety standards, and regulations

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outside in all types of weather environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, climb, stoop, stand, and lift for long periods of time.
• Substantial movements of the hands, wrists, and/or fingers.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
