First Horizon Corporation in Memphis seeks an experienced Foreign Exchange Operations Manager to lead the Advisors and Analysts performing daily trading, cover, and settlements. You will coordinate FX workflow and interact with clients, pricing trades and maintaining Nostro balances.

The ideal candidate has banking FX or accounting experience, leadership skills, and strong communication. The role also oversees revenue and regulatory reporting and collaborates with product & system teams on FX

Qualifications

• Four years of banking experience with at least two years exposure to Foreign Exchange or Accounting.
• Analytical skills.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to explain concepts and transactions.
• Initiative, integrity, reliability and ability to meet deadlines.

• Understanding of accounting principles key to FX risk management.

Summary

The Foreign Exchange Operations Manager is the leader responsible for the Advisor and Analysts performing daily trading, cover and settlements. This leader will coordinate workflow for FX Operations and interact with internal and external clients. Daily workflow includes pricing trades, completing back-office settlements, maintaining sufficient Nostro account balances, FX Loan operational management and associated reconciliation. The role also oversees periodic revenue and regulatory reporting.

• Monitor activity in the bank’s foreign currency nostro accounts (position management)
• Communicate with clients and assist with any special handling or indicative pricing
• Work with internal partners to investigate any reconciliation outages
• Manage periodic revenue and regulatory reporting
• Work with Product & System support team for FX system testing and validation

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have completed college level coursework in International Finance and have some experience with Foreign Exchange in a fast-paced work environment that requires detailed communication and interaction with internal and external clients.
