Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Foreign Exchange Analyst to support FX clients and manage co‑currency accounts. The role includes pricing, clearing and settling trades, generating confirmations and periodic valuation reports, and assisting with GL reconciliations and FX risk monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have banking/financial services experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a background in international finance.

Qualifications

• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain concepts and transactions clearly.
• Demonstrates initiative, integrity, reliability and meets deadlines.
• Client-focused work ethic and cooperative teamwork.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and FX risk.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree; preferred Business focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with revaluations of Foreign Exchange forward contracts.
• Monitor activity in the bank's foreign currency nostro accounts.
• Communicate with customers about foreign currency accounts and special handling needs.
• Work with internal partners to investigate reconciliation outages.
• Price and settle trades through the FX system and issue trade confirmations; coordinate with liquidity providers.
