Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/Bachelors or paralegal certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years title examination experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida real property records and title examination practices.
• Familiarity with deeds, mortgages, judgments, probate matters, and lien priority is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review title searches, commitments, ownership and encumbrance reports for residential foreclosure matters.
• Examine deeds, mortgages, assignments, court filings, and other instruments to verify vesting and title chain.
• Identify and analyze liens, judgments, and encumbrances affecting title.
• Determine all parties needed to foreclose actions and ensure accuracy of records.
• Prepare clear title review reports and litigation summaries highlighting title concerns and required actions.
• Research county, court, probate, and public records to verify ownership and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify title defects and recommend corrective actions to proceed with foreclosure.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and update case management systems.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to determine next steps and ensure timely reviews.
• Meet production, quality, and turnaround-time standards in a high-volume workload.
