Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Litigation Attorney in Melville or Port Chester with a focus on foreclosure and creditors' rights. This role is offered in a hybrid capacity and reports to the litigation team, with a compensation range noted between $120,000 and $200,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience focusing on foreclosure, creditors' rights, bankruptcy litigation, and lender representation.
• Experience with mortgage servicing, motion practice, default servicing, loss mitigation, REO, and title litigation.

Responsibilities

• Represent and counsel clients on foreclosure, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy litigation.
• Advise on mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, and REO.
• Develop case strategy and conduct discovery for litigation outcomes.
• Attend court appearances, draft/move motions, and negotiate settlements.
