Job summary

Pennymac in the United States is seeking a Foreclosure Document Specialist II to manage complex foreclosure cases, oversee document preparation, and coordinate with attorneys and service providers. You will mentor junior staff, ensure regulatory compliance, perform financial calculations, and look for process improvements while upholding accuracy and a high standard of professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two years' experience as Foreclosure Specialist or two years in related field
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and investor foreclosure requirements
• Ability to manage complex foreclosure cases and resolve escalated issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership skills and willingness to mentor junior staff

Responsibilities

• Foreclosure Case Management: manage caseload of foreclosure accounts, review loan documentation, track deadlines, ensure compliance with policies and investor guidelines
• Document Preparation: oversee preparation and execution of essential legal documents for judicial foreclosures, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Stakeholder Communication: communicate and collaborate with attorneys, property preservation vendors, and other service providers
• Compliance and Accuracy: ensure foreclosure actions are accurate, timely, and compliant with federal, state, and investor requirements
• Financial Calculations: manage judgment figures and bid amounts, analyze financial data to determine best action
• Process Management: identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department policies
• Mentorship and Guidance: provide guidance to Entry-Level Foreclosure Specialists
• Special Projects: participate in or lead projects related to foreclosure processes, compliance, or system enhancements
