The Foreclosure Specialist II will manage complex foreclosure cases, prepare essential legal documents, and collaborate with attorneys and vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy. You will mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and participate in special projects while adhering to federal, state, and investor requirements.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a Foreclosure Specialist or two years in a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and investor requirements related to foreclosure.
• Proven ability to manage complex foreclosure cases and resolve escalated issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skills and a willingness to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Foreclosure Case Management: manage a caseload of foreclosure accounts, reviewing loan documentation and deadlines.
• Document Preparation: oversee preparation of legal documents such as filings and deeds for judicial foreclosures.
• Stakeholder Communication: interact with attorneys, property preservation vendors, and other service providers.
• Compliance and Accuracy: ensure actions comply with federal, state, and investor requirements.
• Financial Calculations: manage judgment figures and bid amounts, analyze data for decision making.
• Process Management: identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to policies.
• Mentorship and Guidance: mentor Entry-Level Foreclosure Specialists to support team efficiency.
• Special Projects: lead or participate in projects related to foreclosure processes, compliance, or system enhancements.
