Fortress Building Products in Garland, TX is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to support forecasting and SIOP processes. The role maintains baseline forecasts, analyzes historical sales, tracks forecast accuracy, and collaborates with Sales, Product Management, and Operations to inform planning decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel, Power Query, and data analytics skills, plus experience with ERP systems and dashboards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Analytics, or related field required.
• Supply Chain Management strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain rolling demand forecast files and update statistical baseline projections.
• Generate and maintain statistical forecast models.
• Analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, demand variability, promotions, and market activity to understand drivers and improve forecast quality.
• Collect, reconcile, and validate forecast inputs from Sales, Product Management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Own the monthly demand planning cycle execution and ensure forecasts are updated, reviewed, and submitted on time.
• Track and report forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, bias, variance).
• Identify variances and perform root cause analysis; implement improvements.
