Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Analytics Engineer to turn sales, subscription, and hierarchy data into trusted data models. You will work in SQL and dbt on Snowflake, building models for forecast, revenue intelligence, and leadership dashboards. Remote US-based role with preference for Central or Eastern time zones.

You will own data quality, maintain historical accuracy, and collaborate with sales and finance partners to explain issues and fixes. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role on a new team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical or quantitative field.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development.
• Dbt in production with tests and documentation.
• Strong SQL with window functions in Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake with Salesforce, subscription, billing, and hierarchy data.
• Model data with a clear grain, stable keys, and documented definitions.
• Maintain history to reproduce published numbers as of publish date.
• Manage account-territory-seller mappings and evolving sales hierarchy.
• Reconcile data with Salesforce and Finance and investigate discrepancies.
• Create datasets behind weekly forecast packs and leadership dashboards.
• Add tests and monitoring for data freshness and accuracy.
• Explain data issues to sales and finance partners and agree on fixes.
• Work in version control with code review and CI.
