Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build data models powering forecasting and revenue intelligence. You will work in SQL and dbt on Snowflake, turning sales and subscription data into trusted models. You’ll partner with analysts and sales leaders to explain data and ensure accuracy, with a hands-on, contributing role on a new team.

Location: United States (remote). Central or Eastern time zone preferred. Organization: Revenue Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field or related experience
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or BI development
• dbt in production with tests and documentation
• Strong SQL including window functions in Snowflake or similar
• Knowledge of Salesforce data model: accounts, opportunities, line items and ownership
• Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and reach consensus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake to integrate Salesforce, subscription, billing and hierarchy data
• Model data with clear grain, stable keys and definitions aligned with the metric dictionary
• Preserve history so published numbers reflect the exact date they were issued
• Maintain mapping between accounts, territories, sellers and sales hierarchy as the organization changes
• Reconcile data with Salesforce and Finance and diagnose discrepancies
• Develop datasets for weekly forecast packs, business reviews, and leadership dashboards
• Add tests and monitoring for data freshness, completeness and accuracy
• Explain data issues and trade-offs to partners and agree on fixes
• Collaborate in version control with code review and CI
