Autodesk is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build tested data models for forecasting and revenue intelligence. You’ll work with SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, turning sales, subscription, and hierarchy data into reliable, documented models for analysts and leaders.

Collaboration with Salesforce data owners and finance is essential, with history preservation and CI workflows. The role is remote in the United States (preferred in Central/Eastern time).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or BI development building models others depend on.
• Dbt in production with tests and documentation as part of workflow.
• Strong SQL including window functions and incremental models in Snowflake or a similar warehouse.
• Familiarity with Salesforce data model: accounts, opportunities, line items and ownership.
• Ability to explain data problems to non-technical stakeholders and co-create solutions.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake bringing Salesforce, subscription, billing, hierarchy and forecast data into a clean, documented form.
• Model data with a clear grain, stable keys, and definitions aligned to the metric dictionary.
• Preserve history so published numbers reproduce the state on the publish date.
• Maintain mapping between accounts, territories, sellers and the sales hierarchy as org changes.
• Reconcile data to Salesforce and Finance and investigate disagreements.
• Create datasets for weekly forecast packs, business reviews and leadership dashboards.
• Add tests and monitoring for freshness, completeness and accuracy; fix issues.
• Explain data problems and trade-offs to partners and agree on fixes.
• Work in version control with code reviews and CI.
