Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Manager, Decision Science & Optimization to lead forecasting initiatives and BI product development across fleets and brands. You will guide a small team, collaborate with AI/Data Science and Data Engineering, and translate complex outputs into executive-ready insights.

The role emphasizes data governance, dashboarding, and adoption of forecasting tools, with collaboration across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive value and improve decision-making.

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent required; MBA preferred.
• Eight to ten years related business analysis / data science / finance / strategy experience and/or training.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; able to work with all levels.
• Experience deploying BI/AI/ML analytics tied to forecasting and planning.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
• Advanced Power BI and Oracle SQL skills required.
• Understanding of backend systems and data architecture (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Data Studio).
• Ability to lead adoption, training, and change management across non-technical teams.
• Leadership: influence, inspire and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for oversight, performance, coaching, and career development of a small team.
• Lead deployment and business enablement of demand forecasting models across the enterprise.
• Partner with AI/Data Science and Data Engineering to translate model outputs into dashboards and workflows.
• Lead UAT, documentation, training, adoption tracking, and release communications.
• Drive adoption of forecasting and BI capabilities through stakeholder training and reviews.
• Establish and monitor data quality controls, metric definitions, and dashboard governance.
• Develop KPI frameworks tracking forecast accuracy, adoption, budget variance, and value realization.
• Support data analytics required to provide Brand Finance teams with forecast information.
• Performs other duties as required.
