Amazon is seeking a Data Scientist for the NACP Analytics team in Bellevue, WA to lead forecasting initiatives and address capacity planning bottlenecks. You will partner with Data Engineers, BIEs, and Supply Chain leaders to develop scalable analytics and AI-powered solutions.

The role requires strong statistics and coding skills, with 2+ years in data science and 3+ years in SQL/Python/R/SAS/Matlab. You will contribute to predictive models and cross-functional product impact.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of data scientist experience.
3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL, Python or R/SAS/Matlab) experience.
3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques.
Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

Mansioni

Develop new forecasting models or improve existing approaches using scalable techniques.
Extract data for analysis and model development from large, complex datasets to explain demand trends.
Closely work with engineering teams to build scalable, efficient systems that implement prototypes in production.
Distill problem definitions from informal business requirements and communicate technical solutions to senior business leaders.
