Job summary

Jobtailor in Bothell, WA seeks a data analyst to build Tableau dashboards across product, sales, and marketing, develop end-to-end forecasts, and craft pricing models. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud reporting for leads, opportunities, and quotes.
• Experience with Oracle Eloqua or equivalent for email marketing reporting and campaign analytics.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 for web and on-page analytics.
• Working knowledge of Oracle EBS as a business system, including modules, workflows, and terminology.
• Demonstrated experience automating manual reporting or processes.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, particularly for interfacing with GA4 data exports.
• Familiarity with Qualtrics for survey design and analysis.
• Proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Server, including dashboards, publishing, extracts, and permissions.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and basic modeling.
• Basic SQL knowledge, including reading queries and writing simple SELECT/JOIN statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives and C-suite leadership.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Self-starter mindset and ability to drive tasks to completion independently.
• Strong documentation skills and commitment to knowledge sharing.
• Exposure to data governance and data architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with ETL or data preparation tools such as Tableau Prep, Alteryx, Python/Pandas, or dbt.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to enhance analyst workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Tableau Server dashboards and reports for Product, Sales, Marketing, and R&D decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and translate business questions into actionable analyses.
• Build and maintain forecast models and own the forecasting process end-to-end.
• Consolidate Sales, Product, and Marketing inputs into performance views by product category and geography.
• Apply historical trend analysis to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop pricing models for new-product pricing and margin-target validation.
• Partner with Application Analysts to load approved pricing into Oracle and Salesforce.
• Interpret and contextualize Oracle EBS data made available through Tableau.
• Analyze Salesforce Sales Cloud data for sales reporting and forecasting.
• Develop Oracle Eloqua email marketing reporting and track campaign performance and engagement metrics.
• Analyze GA4 on-page web analytics for marketing and product decisions.
• Design, deploy, and analyze Qualtrics surveys and provide actionable recommendations.
• Use Excel for ad hoc analysis, modeling, and stakeholder-facing deliverables.
• Automate recurring reports, simplify workflows, and eliminate one-off data pulls.
• Partner with Data Governance to support reliable data pipelines and trustworthy data ingestion.
• Conduct root cause analysis of data discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership.
• Document processes, data definitions, and standard operating procedures using Oracle Agile and Microsoft Loop.
• Manage concurrent requests, proactively pull work from the backlog, and advance projects independently.
• Build stakeholder review cycles into project timelines and incorporate feedback.
