Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Demand Planner I to create, maintain and own monthly forecast models for assigned production groups and materials, and to input the monthly demand plan into SAP APO. You will analyze each material's forecast and finalize consensus forecasts by distribution center and material, while monitoring forecast alerts and accuracy reports.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
  • Ability to look at large amounts of data and break it down into meaningful business information.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain and own monthly forecast models for assigned production groups and materials in SAP APO.
  • Input the monthly demand plan into SAP APO and finalize consensus forecasts by distribution center and material.
  • Monitor system forecast alerts and accuracy reports, adjusting forecasts as needed.
  • Interpret customer and historic data to aid development of consensus forecasts; assess forecast risk and inventory impact.
  • Collaborate with Demand Analyst and Buying team; participate in monthly demand meetings and capacity reviews.
