Job summary

This role manages the complete warranty lifecycle from repair order booking to claim submission, reconciliation, and reporting, in strict accordance with Ford and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warranty administration experience in a dealership environment.
• Ford warranty experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with CDK database systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and book repair orders in compliance of Ford Policy and Procedure.
• Processes all warranty claims promptly and with accuracy.
• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
• Verifies criteria required by manufacturer.
• Reconciles all warranty receivables through the appropriate accounting schedule.
• Posts credits.
• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly.
• Review all warranty receivable schedules to ensure timely payment.
• Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
• Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
• Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the senior manager or the fixed operations manager.
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
