Job summary
Rydell of Independence is seeking Ford Service Technicians and Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing service team in Independence, IA. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a brand-new air-conditioned shop with Ford factory training.
You will diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford and other makes, using advanced diagnostic equipment and following manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience as an automotive technician or service technician.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Ford and other makes of vehicles.
- Perform engine, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, and HVAC repairs.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and drivability concerns.
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service information.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative services.
- Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship.
