Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Dallas is seeking a Ford Mobile Service Technician. The successful candidate will need to possess solid skills and ethics while diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Responsibilities include examining vehicles, performing minor repairs, and adhering to dealership policies. An education requirement of a high school diploma or GED is necessary, along with specific licenses. Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education.
• Must communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
• Ability to maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles.

• Attend company and factory training.
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor
• Plan work in cooperation with mobile service coordinator
• Provide labor estimates to service advisor
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor
• Maintain dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repair
• Attend company and factory training
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
