Job summary

Randall Reed’s World Class Automotive Group is seeking a Service Tech – Automotive. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, including motor homes and large trucks, alongside a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced shop.

We emphasize solid skills and ethics, offer room for learning, advancement, and a pay plan reflecting experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid Driver’s License; state and DOT inspections are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience/training.
• Operator Driver License is required.
• State Inspection License and DOT Inspection License; CDL not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles including motor homes and large trucks.
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor.
• Communicate additional service requests to service advisor.
• Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman.
• Provide labor estimates to service advisor.
• Monitor repair time and update service advisor.
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete documentation for client repairs.
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
• Attend company and factory training.
• Keep current with factory technical bulletins.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (hazardous waste disposal).

Education And/or Experience
