Job summary

Camelback Ford in Phoenix seeks an experienced Ford Master Technician to shift from repair work to developing technicians. This role focuses on training entry-level C Technicians to diagnose, repair, and service Ford vehicles.

The trainer will mentor up to four technicians, providing hands-on guidance and daily support while advancing their skills and professionalism. Ford Master Technician certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ford Master Technician certification.
• Extensive experience working on Ford vehicles.
• Knowledge of Ford diagnostic systems and repair procedures.
• Proven ability to teach and mentor entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor up to four entry-level C Technicians.
• Develop technicians' knowledge, skills, confidence, and efficiency.
• Teach proper Ford diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Train technicians on current Ford vehicle technology and repair practices.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Ford programs, systems, technical resources, and procedures.
• Demonstrate proper diagnostic techniques and repair methodology.
• Help trainees understand why a repair is necessary.
• Monitor trainee progress and identify areas needing instruction.
• Promote proper work habits, safety, quality, documentation, and professionalism.
• Build technicians who can perform quality repairs with increasing independence.
• Serve as the technical resource and mentor for the technicians assigned to you.
