Bob Loquercio Auto Group in Peoria, IL is seeking a Ford Diesel Service Technician to join our high-volume service department. You will perform repairs, diagnose diesel systems, and work to Ford factory standards.

Qualifications

Ford Certified Diesel Technician experience required.
Minimum of 2+ years working on Ford diesel vehicles.
ASE certifications preferred.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical background.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs accurately and efficiently according to repair orders, dealership standards, and Ford factory guidelines.
Diagnose diesel engine and vehicle system concerns and complete necessary repairs.
Complete repairs within current skill level while continuing to expand technical expertise.
Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or maintenance needs.
Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors and Dispatch.
Accurately document all repairs and recommendations on repair orders.
Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
