A leading automotive dealership in Clovis is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines and powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of dealer-level experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality repairs. Qualifications

  • Diesel Technician experience required; Ford diesel experience preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of dealer-level or heavy diesel technician experience.
  • Results-oriented, reliable, and team-focused.
  • Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions, and drivability.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and powertrain systems.
  • Perform heavy-duty diesel repairs including engine and turbo.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional service needs.
  • Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately per Ford factory and dealership standards.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs.
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors, Dispatch, and Parts to support workflow.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure proper diesel performance and repair quality.

  • Perform heavy-duty diesel repairs including engine, turbo, fuel, cooling, and exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Troubleshoot advanced electrical, drivability, and emissions concerns
  • Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately per Ford factory and dealership standards
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify additional safety or service needs
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors, Dispatch, and Parts to support workflow
  • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders
  • Road test vehicles to ensure proper diesel performance and repair quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Stay current with Ford diesel training, certifications, and technical bulletins
