Job summary

Ford of Kendall in Miami, FL is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our high-volume service department. The role offers paid training, ongoing education, and opportunities for career advancement within a family-owned dealership.

Responsibilities include performing repair orders, diagnosing systems with diagnostic tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates. A strong focus on customer service is essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma.
At least 2 years of experience as auto Service Technician.
ASE certified.
Ford or other OEM experience required.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
Communicates with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and provides time estimates.
Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean and maintains a tidy stall.
