Job summary

Russell Barnett Ford of Tullahoma is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate holds ASE and Ford certifications and has a strong service technician background to diagnose and repair vehicles.

You will perform work on repair orders, test-drive vehicles with diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor about needed repairs. This is a on-site role at our family-owned dealership that values teamwork, ongoing growth, and exceptional

Qualifications

ASE Certification is required.
Ford Certification is required.
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Experience at a Ford dealership preferred.
B level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed if additional service is needed and provide time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
