Job summary

Freeport Ford LLC in Freeport, IL seeks a Senior Master Technician who is Ford-certified to join our service team. You will diagnose and repair complex issues, perform a wide range of mechanical services, and deliver outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an automotive technician, Ford and ASE certifications, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with growth opportunities in a family‑owned dealership.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ford Certification and ASE Certification required.
5+ years as Automotive Technician; Master Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and follows manufacturer specifications.
Continually maintain and update technical knowledge through training and certifications.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and address concerns.
Collaborate with the service team to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
