Kutztown University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Internal KU AFSCME Custodial Worker 1 to perform cleaning tasks using custodial supplies and equipment. This emergency essential position requires good physical stamina and adherence to established routines, with lifting heavy furniture possible.
The work week is Monday–Friday, 7:00–15:00, totaling 37.5 hours. Internal candidates only. Applicants will be evaluated on reliability, ability to follow instructions, and communication skills.

This is an emergency essential position.
An employee in this class performs a variety of tasks in connection with cleaning functions. Work involves the use of custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve the moving and lifting of heavy furniture. Work is performed in accordance with a well-established routine and is subject to inspection during progress or upon completion for the attainment of established standards of cleanliness.
The days and hours for this custodian position are Monday-Friday 37.5hr 07:00-15:00.
No previous experience or training required.
