Kutztown University is seeking a Custodial Worker 1 to perform cleaning tasks using custodial supplies and modern equipment. This emergency essential position requires ability to lift and move heavy furniture and to work within established routines with supervision and inspections to meet cleanliness standards.
Eligible applicants are internal KU staff AFSCME members. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours, 07:00–15:00.

An employee in this class performs a variety of tasks in connectionwith cleaning functions. Work involves the use of custodialsupplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve the movingand lifting of heavy furniture. Work is performed in accordancewith a well-established routine and is subject to inspection duringprogress or upon completion for the attainment of establishedstandards of cleanliness.
The days and hours for this custodian position areMonday-Friday 37.5hr 07:00-15:00.
No previous experience or training required.
Successful interview, reference checks, background clearances (PA Criminal, Child Abuse Clearance &FBI Clearance), and demonstration of ability are requisite qualifications for all positions.
