Kutztown University is seeking an emergency essential custodial worker in an internal KU AFSCME staffing process. The role involves cleaning duties using custodial supplies and modern equipment, with potential lifting of heavy furniture, in a routine supervised setting.
The schedule is Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours, 07:00–15:00. No prior experience required, but candidates should be able to read, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.

An employee in this class performs a variety of tasks in connection with cleaning functions. Work involves the use of custodial supplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve the moving and lifting of heavy furniture. Work is performed in accordance with a well-established routine and is subject to inspection during progress or upon completion for the attainment of established standards of cleanliness.
Monday-Friday 37.5hr 07:00-15:00.
No previous experience or training required.
