General Function

The Sales Associate ensures every customer and patient has the best experience in every For Eyes store, establishing it as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plans and achieve company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and maintain professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic math skills
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a goal-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-paced environment
