Job summary

Under Armour in Portland, OR seeks a Professional Engineer, Simulation to deliver engineering assessments, design evaluations and insights for footwear using FEA and other simulation tools. This role supports Innovation, Design and Development to predict and improve product responses before physical prototyping.

The team works in a hybrid setting, with four days in-office per week. Base compensation ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 USD, with relocation possible and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals and material mechanics knowledge.
• Experience with FEA predictive engineering and 3D-CAD modeling.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate concepts using engineering first-principles and FEA.
• Create and edit 3D designs for footwear components for HPC analysis.
• Communicate project progress, results, and material recommendations.
• Support testing activities and collaborate across design and development.
