Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Raleigh, NC is seeking a store teammate who greets customers, shares product knowledge, follows merchandising standards, and supports the in-store experience with a proactive, friendly approach.

You will help customers find what they need, promote loyalty programs, adhere to safety procedures, and collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming and high-performing store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach to understand their needs.
• Support customers’ shopping experience with in-depth product knowledge.
• Maintain merchandising standards, floor sets, signage, and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
• Follow safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
