Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Lexington, SC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, meet sales goals, and support store operations daily. You will cashier, process transactions, maintain store appearance, build product knowledge, assist in inventory, and participate in promotions while upholding company policies.

The role requires excellent communication, basic math, and a positive, team-focused attitude; prior retail or footwear experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
Basic communication, both verbal and non-verbal, organization, and math skills.
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and staff at all levels.
Experience handling cash and following POS procedures.
Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers by adhering to service standards.
Meet sales and work goals as directed by store management and policies.
Lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work.
Maintain merchandise presentation and ensure stock is well arranged and merchandised.
Process all cash/ POS transactions and check shoes for mates as part of sales.
