Job summary

Coach, part of the Tapestry family, is seeking a Sr. Manager of Materials Development for Footwear in New York. You will drive development, sourcing and timely delivery of innovative leathers, fabrics, prints, and color concepts from design to production.

You will coordinate with Design, Merchandising and Production teams to resolve issues and keep projects on track. The role requires 8+ years in footwear materials, strong communication, and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in footwear materials development and production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Material knowledge: fabric and leather.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day point person for Design, Merchandising, Production, and Tech Teams.
• Drive material development from Concept to Commercialization and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain and organize material/color libraries and development references.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and ensure masters are shared with overseas partners.
