Job summary

Scheels is hiring for a merchandiser to unload freight, tag and stock merchandise, and assist customers in the Appleton store. You will follow shop guides, coordinate with shop managers on moves, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor and back stock area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and attention to detail, with varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Experience in merchandising or stockroom tasks preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from freight, tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise for the floor or back stock.
• Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
• Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
• Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize shop needs.
• Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around store areas.
