Job summary

Altra Running is seeking a Footwear Developer II to lead development from concept to production, driving fit, specs, and cost targets. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to create technical packages, BOMs, and robust tech packs, ensuring on-time sample development and validation across global partners.

You will apply advanced footwear development standards, collaborate with VF Asia and internal teams, and travel domestically and internationally to support Buy Ready and commercialization

Qualifications

4+ years of footwear development experience.
Strong knowledge of footwear materials, pattern engineering and mold construction.
Experience with tooling development and 2D/3D CAD/CAM.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage product development from seasonal kickoff through production.
Lead cross-functional meetings to review progress and drive decisions.
Collaborate with Design to create technical packages and BOMs in FlexPLM.
Publish tech packs to factories and VF Asia Development, and maintain records.
Drive fit execution and ensure product quality and margin targets.
