Job summary

Coach is seeking a Sr. Manager, Materials Development – Footwear to lead the development, commercialization, and timely delivery of innovative leathers, fabrics, prints, and color from concept through production for the Footwear category.

The role partners with design, merchandising, production, and technical teams to manage development milestones, maintain material libraries, and ensure data accuracy in ECVision, while coordinating with overseas suppliers and driving cross-functional alignment

Qualifications

8+ years in footwear materials development and production.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Fabric and leather material technical knowledge.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Creative and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Serve as day-to-day point of contact for Design, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Teams.
Drive material development from concept to commercialization and resolve issues.
Organize and track material development information and references.
Maintain cross-functional material and color libraries and archives.
Ensure ECVision database is complete and up-to-date.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers for status updates.
Lead cross-functional Article Master reviews and share masters with overseas partners.
Prepare end-of-season recaps.
Lead special projects as assigned.
