Job summary

Altra is seeking a Color Designer II to drive seasonal color design and execution across the footwear line. You will develop color palettes, create CADs and tech packs, research trends, and ensure accurate color execution throughout product creation.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Color, Graphics and Material Design. You will lead palette development, translate brand vision into color solutions, and work cross-functionally to meet merchandising goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in footwear color design
• Foundation skills include teamwork and communication
• Strong color theory applied to performance footwear
• Ability to translate narratives into physical product
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite essential

Responsibilities

• Lead seasonal color palette development
• Create color CADs and tech packs to factory standards
• Research trends and translate them into footwear designs
• Collaborate with Design, Product, Merchandising and Development teams
• Deliver compelling color proposals and presentations on time
