Job summary

Brooks Running seeks a Footwear Developer I to support seasonal inline and SMU product creation. You’ll work with senior developers, engineers, designers, and global partners from concept through fit validation and sample tracking.

This growth-focused role offers hands-on experience across the product creation lifecycle. You’ll impact product quality, cost, and performance while collaborating across disciplines and time zones.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with multiple teams across disciplines and time zones.
• Demonstrate strong communication to clarify complex product details.
• Own data accuracy and documentation throughout development.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of new uppers, SMUs, and color/material updates.
• Manage full sample process across teams from receipt to distribution.
• Maintain BOMs, blueprints, and upper patterns for factory partners.
• Own testing, validation, and feedback loops for project quality.
• Lead multiple small- to mid-size projects with timelines and costing targets.
• Communicate product specifications clearly to global teams.
• Identify process improvements for data accuracy and coordination.
• Participate in Asia development trips to factories and suppliers.
