Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Our client, a fast-growing apparel brand, is looking for a Men's Footwear Designer to join their team in NYC!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative men’s footwear collections, from concept to final prototype, aligned with brand identity and market trends.
• Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to ensure designs are fresh, functional, and market-relevant.
• Collaborate with product developers, material sourcing teams, and manufacturers to select materials, create samples, and ensure production accuracy.
• Sketch, render, and create technical design specifications using digital and traditional tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
• Maintain a strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and production processes.
• Partner with merchandising and marketing teams to align designs with business goals and customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in men’s footwear design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles and innovations.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD) and hand sketching.
• Strong knowledge of materials, color theory, and construction techniques in footwear.
• Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to translate ideas into marketable products.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to work in office full-time.
