DICK’S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a Team Captain – Footwear & Apparel to lead a dynamic retail team, coach teammates, and deliver exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel.

You will grow your leadership impact in a fast-paced, team-first environment, supervise daily operations, set schedules, drive sales, and ensure customers find the right products for performance and style.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred #DSGT1

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic retail team focused on delivering exceptional service through product knowledge and athlete engagement across footwear and apparel.
• Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure athletes find the right products for performance and style.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, replenishment standards, etc.
• Sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining appropriate number of direct reports.
• Perform opening/closing procedures, Front End and Cash Office functions, and supervise teammates to meet goals.
