DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Team Captain – Footwear & Apparel to lead a dynamic retail team and deliver outstanding athlete experiences in our store. You will coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure customers find the right footwear and apparel for performance and style.

In this role you will develop schedules, recruit and train staff, uphold merchandising standards, and ensure safe store operations while meeting business goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding athlete experiences by knowledgeably guiding product selection.
• Lead and coach the store team to deliver exceptional service and sales results.
• Develop schedules, recruit, train, and manage direct reports.
• Uphold merchandising standards and store policies, ensuring safety and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with management to drive store initiatives and achieve financial goals.
