Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Nashua, NH is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager – Sales (Footwear & Apparel) to lead the footwear and apparel teams, coaching staff to deliver expert service and product knowledge. You will drive performance through strong leadership and a focus on helping athletes find the right products for performance and everyday needs.

You will grow your impact through leadership, teamwork, and a shared passion for sport, overseeing scheduling and staffing with a view to budget

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years of experience.
1-3 of retail management experience (or customer-focused experience) required.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with the Store Manager to develop and execute full-year growth plans, including forecasting and planning 90+ days out.
Directly manages a team of Captains (Supervisors) and indirectly manages broader store team through coaching and development.
Coaches Captains on interviewing, hiring, and team-building practices.
Holds teammates accountable for meeting operational guidelines, brand standards, and customer service expectations.
Oversees payroll and staff scheduling to align with budget goals and adapt to athlete traffic and sales trends.
