Athletic Trainer for UNH Football's Summer Camps in July. An Athletic Trainer on-site is required for camps to run.
Duties/Responsibilities
- (40%) Communication between coaches, parents, and campers regarding medical information.
- (30%) Treats in-camp injuries. Can diagnose injuries including a head injury. Due to the time restraint of the camp, we cannot do a Return-to-play progression. Once a head injury is diagnosed, a camper needs full medical clearance from a doctor in order to return.
- (30%) Present to assist in any needs during camp (water/hydration, campers well-being, weather monitoring, etc.)
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or similar field
- 1 Year Prior experience in similar role
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Pays strong attention to detail
- Background in sports injuries and proper nutrition
