Physaitry seeks dedicated volunteers from any academic or professional background who possess strong qualitative research or interviewing experience. In this fully remote role, open to candidates across The United States—you will schedule, conduct, and record/transcribe in-depth interviews with diverse practicing physiotherapists in your area. Your work will generate critical insights for our AI-powered, gamified rehabilitation platform, and you will accrue approximately 60–80 documented volunteer hours in qualitative research.

Position Overview

Title: Physiotherapy Research Assistant (Volunteer, Remote)

In this role, you will:

• Schedule and conduct 25 structured in-person or virtual interviews with a range of practicing physiotherapists (e.g. musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric, sports medicine) in your province
• Employ qualitative interviewing techniques to explore clinical workflows, treatment strategies, and technology adoption
• Synthesize, and present findings to the Physaitry team in clear, bi-weekly or monthly reports
• Maintain professional standards in all communications with clinicians and internal administration

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (complete or in progress) in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated qualitative research or interview experience (academic, market research, user-experience, healthcare, etc.)
• Excellent verbal communication and active-listening skills
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private remote workspace
• Professional proficiency in English
• 60–80 hours of documented qualitative-research experience for your CV or graduate-school application
• Exposure to multiple physiotherapy specialties and workflows
• Networking with established clinicians and healthcare-technology professionals
• Hands-on involvement in medical-technology synthesis research
• Flexible scheduling to fit around existing commitments
